Friction Burn On Penis After Rubbing Underwear Constantly. Safe Remedy?
Hey I have what i believe to be a friction burn on the bulb of my penis. I am assuming it is the result of a seam in my underwear constantly rubbing it throughout the day and during athletic activities. As it is an area that is constantly covered during the day how can i prevent it from getting rubbed further and causing more irritation
Thank you for your query. If its a simple 'friction burn' then you don't need to worry much at the moment, as it will resolve spontaneously with time. I would like to suggest you use some soft, cotton, seamless underwear of the right size and fit. Wearing an underwear of wrong size is very common in our country among both the sexes.
However, if it does not heal within a couple of weeks or if its sore or oozing, or if you are sexually active, I would suggest you consult a dermatologist to rule out any sexually transmitted infection or any form of dermatitis and adequate management for the same.
Hope I've been able to satisfy your query. Please don't hesitate to ask for any further clarifications. best of luck.
