Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
From Shar: I'm 65, 10 pounds over wt and in good condition. Hematologist's tests indicate low D3, very low potassium and B12--borderline in others (I think brazil nuts cured my low magnesium). I have a history of high ferritain--I dieted down from 1000 to 47 in 3 yrs. I have one of 4 genetic markers for hemochromatosis. The side effects of eating only foods with 0 to 4% iron? And I'm told that I lack an enzyme which allows b12 absorption. My 1st B12 injection caused me a serious binge on candy and salt (which I dislike), and I washed them down with brandy. I'm afraid to get more injections. Is there an alternative? Also I've become highly sensitive to Fluoride-gaging, fatigue and nausea.
