Dr said urinalysis positive for uti gave me levaquin however I am still experiencing same symptoms and worsening nausea and dizziness. I tried taking on 1/2 pill today but felt just as bad before and after med. this was third dose q500qd 5 days
Culture and sensitivity of urine needs to be done and then you should be started on antibiotics that the bacteria are sensitive to. Also we need to keep in mind other cause on urinary tract infection i.e, fungal infection.
We also need to check if there is an anatomical cause for urinary tract obstruction. It can be checked with tests like Ultrasound of kidney, ureter and bladder, cystourethrogram, etc.
