Gastric Ulcer, Occult Blood In Stools. Can I Drink Aloe Vera Juice?
dear doctor i am suffering from gastric ulcer for the last 2 months with occult blood in the stools can i take the following 1 aloe vera juice empty stomach in the morning 2 avipatikar churna 3 times a day after meals with water 3 can i do kapal bhati pranayam in the morning apart from these any other medicines you may prescribe rgds j chawla-chandigarh

How do you know you have a gastric ulcer? Was an endoscopy done on you? N occult blood cannot be seen with naked eyes .... Only can b seen under microscope. ... if all these tests are done and u have positive gastric ulcer and positive occult blood on stools... then u should check your complete blood picture, to see if there is any fall in the haemoglobin, n treat the gastric ulcer with antibiotics as majority of the cases of gastric ulcer can be because of a bacterial infection, but detailed examination should be done.
