Getting Sharp Pains On Ribs, Gets Relief With Pain Relievers But It Keeps On Coming. Any Solution?
Hello, for the past two days I get getting very sharp pains in my right side. From the bottom of my ribs up about four ribs. I can get the pain to ease off with pain relievers but it keeps coming back and is painful. When I put my hand on it, it seems to be very tender. I have not bruised my ribs, but it feels like someone kicked me in them.

HI, The pain in right sided ribs at bottom , - Can arise from the underlying bones, muscles (due to stress- sprain, weight lifting,hit-Fracture ribs),Weakness due to calcium/vitamin D deficiensy - Or the underlying organs like liver, lungs, pleural cavity.being inflamed/ infected. To pin point the cause, a detailed physical examination by a physician along with needful investigations are advised. The treatment plan can then be decided. Thanks
