Good Morning, 6 Weeks Ago I Hurt My Back I

Good Morning,
6 weeks ago I hurt my back I went to the hospital who said it was sciatica I was prescribed co codamol which I'm allergic to my gp then prescribed me naproxen and diazapam to take alongside paracetmol and signed me off for 3 weeks.. After 3 weeks I had to go back as I was still no better they sent me for an x ray the results showed small ostepathic lippings on the L4 and L5 was signed off for a further 2 weeks and referred to see a physiotherapist... I had to go back to my Dr on Monday as the pain is still bad I have been signed off for a further month... I had my first physio appointment yesterday and the physio has told me to go back to my Dr to get my pain relief right as he is unable to help me until the pain is manageable... I cannot sit for longer than 10 mins I am only comfortable laying or sitting on my right side... walking is a struggle as I am always hunched over which then puts pressure in my legs knees and calf's to lift my leg hurts only respite I get from the pain is when I'm asleep as I have been on 7.5mg of zopiclone for the past 4yrs... my Dr called me back and said that their is no further pain relief he can give me as I am allergic to codeine and tramadol and has referred me to see a back specialist to see if steroid or epidural injections would help me... I am really worried as I am not really sure what is wrong with me I find if I push myself like yesterday having to walk to physio and back this is usually a 10 minute walk but currently takes me an hour each way the next day I cannot move... I have been advised that my back specialist appointment can take upto 8 weeks to come through... I'm extremely worried that I'm never going to get better and get back to work which is then causing my depression and anxiety levels to soar... is their any advice you are able to give me
