Good afternoon!
I have heard that certain GI disturbances can be seen in symptoms in the mouth. True?
If yes, I'd like to find out what a ridge (or welt) on the inside of my lower lip, going almost from corner to corner, might mean. It's NOT a canker sore (bubble-like). I asked my family dentist, and he didn't seem to be concerned. Could it be indicative of an intestinal problem (I am having some heart burn), an allergy, or even age (I'm 68)?
Many thanks for your consideration!
