Good Afternoon! Thank You For This Forum. Currently In Appeals

Good afternoon! Thank you for this forum. Currently in appeals process with health insurance plan re: BetaSeron coverage. Just forced to switch insurance companies for 2016. Have been on BetaSeron for 20 years. Doing well. Latest MRI in Sept 2015 shows no new lesions. Disability is progressing slowly. Told I must switch to Extavia despite my MS-specializing MD writing appeals for exception. BetaSeron is in their approved formulary, but they demand that I fail with attempts on 2 cheaper drugs prior to granting approval for BetaSeron. Appeals board claims that the drugs are exactly identical in regards to chemical composition, yet my MD states they are cousins, not identical twins. Your take?
