I am 28 yrs old, weighing 47.5 kilos, and I have a cholesterol level of 213 (borderline risk), however, I actually have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which as I read causes high cholesterol levels among other risk factors as well, such as diabetes and ovarian cancer.
My concerns:
- What are the risks of such cholesterol level (I am also worried that I will not be able to control it and could very easily get higher with my PCOS situation, given that I believe it is getting worse; I got my period 3 times in a month and a half!!, also I have been losing weight uncontrollably, I usually weigh between 52-54 kilos, despite the fact that I relatively eat well and my diet is quite comprehensive)
- How can I possibly lower my cholesterol level naturally without drug intake; and
- Are there any further tests I should go for?
