Good Morning- 6 Years Ago, I Had A Grand Mal

Good morning-
6 years ago, I had a grand mal seizure with no previous history or any TBI or any health problems! We even bought a motorcycle for me the week before-scuba etc. Apparently, I stopped breathing and almost died. Surprise. Over the last 6 years I have continued lucky in only having simple partial so I am alert during all events thankfully-I just can't answer.and sit down to roll it out. I am under a neurologist's care and now a sleep specialist is involved. I had sleep apnea and stopped breathing 75 an hour care prior to my last surgery 12-30-14. (4th one) All this detail to say -I have gained so much weight during all this. The surgeon said I was under physical distress so my body held on to the calories and metabolism went into "survival mode" and even craved carbs.
I guess since this is the MOST I have weighted now. Immed after the surgery I dropped 25 pounds but have since added them back with increasing simple partial activity, photosensitivity has increased and no sleep triggers are more defined.
So where does leave me with trying to get my weight back under control. The sleep specialist neurologist is
testing to see where my breathing is now. Any suggestions for weight and impacted metabolism? General ideas for the two triggers ? Open for suggested resources and your ideas. Currently Lamictal XR med.
