Good Morning. My Question Is A Relative Of Ours Told

Good morning.
My question is
A relative of ours told us that he has cancer 1st degree , in a lymph node under his armpit. He lives in Canada . He has been asking for money for treatment.
I have my doubt .
So my question is
Is it possible to have in a period of almost 2 months 12 sessions of chemotherapy , along with taking around 10 doses of those special pills that are a new way of treating cancer . Than going to special treatment in Mayo clinic in Arisona where he said he had 5 sessions of special treatment , last session was last Friday and now immediately he needs another 2 injections of chemotherapy
Can one undergo all this treatment in less than 2 months ??? One after the other???
I know that I didn't give lot of details but regardless of the details is it possible for a cancer which is stage one and which is localized
I'm having lot of doubt and I'm afraid it's just a way for him to get money
Besides I know that cancer is treated for free in Canada so why according to him his doctor insisted that he goes to Mayo clinic for treatment .
He asked for 10 thousands dollar for Mayo clinic for 5 sessions . I know for sure that in Mayo clinic it is much more expensive .
Please advise
Thank you
