Got Electric Shocks In Elbow. Arm Losing Strength, Have Deformed Right Hand. Solution?

I get electric shocks in my elbow when doing down dog in yoga. My arm appears to be losing strength - picking up a gallon of milk, full pot of coffee etc. I have a deformed right hand from a birth defect so my left arm gets over-worked! I m 46 years old and I think it is wearing out. I also had a small herniated disc L C6-7 that I had surgery on in 2007. What are your thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears to be due to the irritation of the radial or ulnar nerve , due to compression of the nerve at C6, and C7, due to herniation, or may be due to the deformity of the hand. The other causes could be defeciency of the vitamin B complex etc.
I to my patient with such symptoms suggest surgecal correction, and prescribe neurotropic injection, for 10 consecutive days, and to be given at regular intervals. Thank you.
