Got Mic-key Button Replaced. Have Weight Lose, Mic-key Button Hurts On Inside When Touched. Anything Wrong With It?
I just got my mic-key button replace in July, the doctor put in a 20 fr, 3cm stoma length. Recently I have lost 22 pounds & my mic-key button is really loose now & it hurts on the inside when someone touches it or put the extension tube on to give me food. Is it hurting because I need a shorter length, or could there be something else wrong with it??

As long as the question of care of feeding tube is there one has to be very careful about it, particularly for newer kind of tube called Mickey button, one important thing is position of tube and the blockage, the care of this tube has to be taken by professional hand, if you are experiencing some problem then it is better to called your doctor or have examine it, hope you can understand have nice day
