Got Rash On Left Arm Where The Blood Pressure Cuff, Going From Arm Pit Down To Wrist. Cure?
I was in the ER for nasuea and high blood pressure (209/167) and convulsions. I am a 28 year old female. I got a rash on my left arm where the blood pressure cuff was but then it quickly moved to my forearm . I was in the ER two days, discharged, the rash on my right arm finally dissappeared about an hour ago but then my left arm is now covered in a rash that goes from my arm pit down to my wrist ony my left arm.
Hello, Thanks for writing in. I understand there's rash on your left arm where blood pressure cuff was applied and its extending down to the wrist. All this happened while you were in ER. There is a possibility that the rashes are due to bleeding into tiny microvessels (capillaries) below the skin. Please consult your doctor and get your blood coagulation profile done if necessary. Hope this helps.
