Got Tubes Tied, Sexually Active, Acne, Leaves Scars. Hormonal Change? Treatment?

I am 39, never really had acne as a teenager, maybe a pimple or two on my chin during my period. I got my tubes tied about a year ago after being single and celabit for 5 years. in the last 3-4 months, and I am suddenly very sexually active again (almost daily) and have had the worst acne breakouts of my life! 8 or 9 cystlike pimples at a time(only some have whiteheads and can be popped) & it is leaving horrible scarring. 2 questions whyyy (possibly some hormonal change from sex or getting my tubes tied) and what can I do?

Hi,

This has nothing to do with tubal ligation as it wont lead to symptoms what you mentioned. These are not even related to sex life as you described. Please get examined by a dermatologist for prescription of medicines for treating the same.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
