Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation/ dark spots is quite a common complication of acne, specially in asian skin. Since Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation invoving back may be covering a large area of the back and also it would be difficult to apply daily medications, therefore, in my view you should go for chemical peeling sessions, particularly glycolic peel. A session of glycolic peel can be taken once every 2 weeks and usually 4-6 sessions would bring about remarkable improvement in PIH. Glycolic peel is fast acting and an excellent pigment reducing procedure. The peel also helps with acne. Besides, you may use topical benzoyl peroxide gel for active acne on torso. I suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your region for the needful.
