Got Urine Infection. Have Burning Sensation While Urinating, Mild Fever. On Citralka, Urispass. Not Helping. Recommendations?
I have got urine infection I feel as I am having pain and burning sensation while urinating and also have got body pain and mild fever since yesterday night. I am taking citralka 5 ml mixed with a glass of water three times a day and also Urispass tab(2tab) but stil it has not helped me..:( can you suggest a better medicine please or atleast the next procedure I need to follow.
Urispas tablet is flavoxate used to treat urinary bladder spasms. Citralka is taken to alkalinize urine. An antibiotic is missing in your treatment schedule and that is very important if you have fever and burning urination.
I suggest first you get your urine culture and sensitivity done and depending on the report take antibiotic course of the medicine that responds.
You must continue drinking lots of water and citralka thrice a day with urispas to relieve pain.
The antibiotic course must be completed completely for full recovery.
Hope thishelps
