Gout In 2007 I Had 3 Level Fusion Surgery Lumbar

Gout In 2007 I had 3 level fusion surgery lumbar 3-5. While in the hospital my left knee became very swollen. It was aspirated and identified as gout. Fast forward to thanksgiving morning. I woke up and had very swollen left index finger. In the ER the attending physician was concerned about infection but upon consultation it treated as gout. The finger got better but I lost 30-40 degrees of flexion. Now 28 days later I woke with a swollen left wrist. A hand surgeon aspirated fluid to try and identify the nature of the fluid. I'm worried about loss of function in my wrist. Wondering if loss of function is legitimate concern
