Growth In Lung, Has Mood Swings. Done X Ray And CT Scan. What Does It Mean?

my friend has a groth on in his lung it is small his wife has said it has latched on to his heart with its feelers and a lot of negative things he has not seen a specilist yet he sees one tomorrow would a G P tell her that and that he is terminal when he has only had a x ray and a ct scan how much can be told with a ct scan

It is difficult to comment anything on an xray but a ct scan is more specific in diagnosing things like tumour
Still whether the growth is benign or cancerous is very difficult to say unless a biopsy is done. And certainly no one can comment on how many days a person would live till he knows the complete picture
