Hello and welcome to HCM, The sonography report of the abdomen reveals features of fatty liver. fatty liver is caused by alcohol, diabetes mellitus, starvation. malnutrition, obesity, etc. If you have any of these conditions, you need to stop or revert that condition. Fatty liver is a reversible condition. Cessation of the causative agent will revert back the changes of fatty liver. Of the causative factor continues, the fatty change will aggravate and can ultimately lead to liver cirrhosis. The HCV infection has cleared away from the blood. So, there is nothing to worry about the HCV infection.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
