HI, I Have A Question. My Stepmother (78 Years Old)

HI, I have a question. My stepmother (78 years old) broke her wrist last August. She still has acute pain and her hand is diminishing in size. It sounds to me that she has reflex sympathetic dystrophy. She tried all sorts of treatments. She is in a different country and I am wondering if she can get help in the US. Does Reflex sympathetic dystrophy get cured or is it common to have pain for the rest of your life?
