HI I was just diagnosed with ckd stage 3 high gfr bs 103 a 1c 6.2 and have been takin losartin with hctz for about 5 years. I was told my creatine was a bit high ( 1.2) female 73 yo a few years ago and not to take nsaids a yeare ago had test done that show abn gfr rates but was not notified took the med another year now I have the bs as above slightly lower gfr. abn parathyroid incresed insulin and need furhter tests fo r thyroid. I was advised to take meformin statin for elelvated cholesteral ldl high , low hdl. 44 calcitrol for the parathyroid. I am trying to put this all together so I can better understan how I got her what I can fix and or improve. I am overweight which has spiraled in the last 3 years to a bmi of38 and not have luck with weight loss so far. I am trying to figure out how all this will afffect me and how it works.
