You can visit any ranbaxy pathology lab(SRL Laboratories). It is scattered throughout Mumbai, Thane and Vashi. They have different testing options. PCR DNA, PCR RNA, Western blot and Elsia as well as P24 antigen test. The cost varies from which one you opt for. PCR is 2200 INR, Western Blt is 2600 INR and so on.....
thanks for choosing health care magic.There are many government hospitals and hiv/253657?iL=true" >AIDS and HIV counseling centers every where you can approach any of them and get tested.There are lots of private labs in navi mumbai and most of then are doing this test.Cost varies some what with lab,but in government institutes they may either done for free or at a very reasonable rates.

Is HIV-2 DNA PCR done by SLR reliable ?
My question is not to use it as a confirmity test, but i have just done the test and it was written at the footnote that the test was developed and evaluated by SLR in Mumbai.
How accurate and reliable can the result of this test? does SLR have good reputation in India?
