HIV Combo Test Negative After Exposure To HIV. Can I Consider This Conclusive?
HI Doc. Greetings from India. To be brief my question is after 8 weeks of my potential exposure to HIV I had an HIV COMBO test ( antibody and antigen ). It was negative. can I consider this conclusive? Thank you very much. (My exposure was protected sex but I forgot check condom and frottage where vaginal fluids touched my penis tip)
Hi and welcome to HCM.Thanks for the query. Yes it is conclusive after 8 weeks. I dont see a reason to repeat the tests unless for your own satisfaction Wish you good health. Regards
