HIV Positive, Cough Intensity Reduced After Azithromycin. No Weight Loss, Appetite Reduction, Sweating. Complete Cure?
I'm HIV positive. Now I have cough since 2 weeks. The intensity of cough reflexes has reduced after I took antibiotic (Azithromycin) and cough syrups but still cough is there. There is no weight loss, reduction in appetite or night sweating. I do not have any cough reflexes at night. What should I do about the remaining cough which has become a pain in the neck

Since you are an HIV positive , so naturally immunity decreases and infection occurs.
Now cough usually day time may be due to .
1 Allergy , in this type of cough there develops whistling sound ( hissing sound during breathing ) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a physician .
2 Tuberculosis , although you mentioned that you didn't have night sweating, loss of appetite , but in hiv positive cases there develops tuberculosis . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest and sputum examination. Clinical as well physical examination is also important .
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion for allergic asthmatic cough & tuberculosis.
