Had 2nd Set Of Euflexxa Shots On Each Knee, Painful, Could Hardly Walk. Is This Side Effect ?

Last my wife had her 2nd set of euflexxa shots one in each knee. Her knees finally felt better, this was Tues. the 11th of June, on Wed. morning she could hardly walk due to a pain from her right rear knee up the rear of her leg into her buttocks. She could hardly walk, and after she did walk she had to stop because she was in so much pain. This pain travelled up thru her hamstring. Could this be a reaction or side effect from the euflexxa?

what is your age?

Euflexxa contains hyaluronic acid which is a synthetic lubricant ,
If fluid gets in contact with sensative tissue like nerve then it can lead to pain .

swelling and inflammation after injection is common.
Keep limb elevation to reduce edema

Other possibility of nerve compression in spine .

mean while take rest ,climbing stairs is going to aggrivate pain so try to avoid that

physio - SWD USG TENS
quadriceps exersizes
