Had Bells Palsy Which Paralyzed The Right Side Of Face And Affecting My Right Eye. Will It Stay Permanently?

I came down with Bells palsy two weeks ago and had never heard of it. It came out of the blue, paralyzing the right side of my face and affecting my right eye....I went to emergency to make sure it was not a stroke. Then went to my doctor, who prescribed Prednisone and Valtrex.....It is not getting any better after two weeks....is this going to be permanent?
