Had IVF Treatment, On Utrogeston. When Took Vaginally, Caused Irritaiton. Skin Is Pink, Puffy. Treatment?

Hi I am taking Utrogeston as part of IVF treatment. I first took vaginally but found it caused irritation so now take orally. I still have external vaginal irritation which is very itchy & leaving the skin looking pink & puffy. I am trying to treat the soreness with Calamine lotion but it doesnt seem to be helping i.e. still very angry down there & it has been 4 days now

As its necessary to take Ultrogeston for support of pregnancy, you should take your pills regularly.
Your skin irritation and rash may be because of vaginal dryness which might be caused by ultrogeston. Its a rare but know side effect.
Try any vaginal lubricant and vaginal wash liquids.
You can also try Lignocain local application jelly.
I hope this will solve your problem.
Good luck to your pregnancy.
Take care.
