Had A Cerclage Placed, Feel Stitches At Vagina Opening, Swollen And Bulged. Is It Ok ?
I had a cerclage placed at 14 weeks (I'm 17 weeks, 5 days today) and I feel my stitches at the opening of the vagina. My OB said he left them longer on purpose, however, the top of my vagina (under my clitoris) is swollen and bulging a bit. I can still insert my finger into my vagina, but it's very tight in there with stitches in the way... Am I okay?

Thank for choosing HCM, There is chances of little infection, or local irritation near or surrounding area of clitoris, finally its depends upon the clinical examination, there is nothing to worry about it, better have words with your OB, will be the final judge, Have nice day
