Had A Hysterectomy, Bladder Sling, Need Another Cystorectocele Surgery. Can Urologist Do This Surgery ?
I am needing a cystorectocele surgery. I already had a hysterectomy, bladder sling, and an A&P repair 6 1/2 yrs ago, but unfortunately am needing another surgery . Is a urologist able to do this surgery without a Gyn? How long is the hospital stay? How long will I be out of work? Please tell me anything you can think of in regards to this situation.

Having had previous corrective surgeries, the next surgery will be that much more complicated and difficult.
Yes, a Urologist can definitely do the surgery.
The hospital stay and the course will be decided by extent and type of surgery and how complicated it is.
