An MRI scan of your cervical spine will rule out any compressed nerves causing you the pain.
Momentarily, try the following methods for pain relief -
* avoid activities that produces pain * Ice packing over the painful areas once in 2 hours * Gentle Local massage of the painful area with an analgesic gel * Use simple analgesic like Advil or Aleve as needed.
If you are not getting any relief with the above measures, consult an orthopedic surgeon for further management.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
