Had Beta HCG Test, It Was 302, After 2 Days, It Was 450's. Since It Didn't Double.

I had a beta HCG test at approx 5 weeks and it was 302. Two days later it was in the 450s. Since they didn't double is there a concern? Doctor ordered another one for 48 hours after the last. I don't have history for ectopic pregnancy. Did have a chemical pregnancy last month but levels were at .7 before we got pregnant this time.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Serum beta-HCG gets doubled in 80-90 % cases.
In 10 % normal intrauterine pregnancy there can be irregular rise of beta-HCG.
So don't worry & get one repeat serum beta-HCG & ultrasound scan done.
