Had Bladder Infection, Kidney Infection, Flu-like Symptoms, Hot And Chill, Nausea, Pain On Back,chest And Ribs
have had a bladder infection. I lost my antibiotics that didn t seem to help anyway. now I seemingly have a kidney infection: flu-like symptoms, then feeling hot then chilled, very tired. weeks ago I woke up with nausea and a little vomiting. there is a dull pain on the lower left of my back. pain seems to travel to higher up on my back at times or my chest by my ribs. I have dr apt tomorrow morning. could there be permanent damage to kidney since I waited so long?
** 1. usually in clinical practice kidney infections are mistook for bladder infections that can lead to dangerous, even fatal, complications, because one of the major reasons for the confusion is that kidney infections are usually caused by untreated or under-treated bladder infections. 2. because antibiotics were lost so probably bacteria from bladder might have traveled upward towards the kidney. 3. A simple dipstick test will help you to know whether infection is there or not BUT, Urine examination will let you know which organism is the causative factor which will decide the appropriate antibiotic. 4. Even after Doctor Appointment and necessary medications make sure . Drink lots of water . Avoid or empty your bladder after SEX. . Avoid Constipation.
