Had Breast Cancer. Started Hair Fall. Does Chewing Tobacco Cause The Hair Loss?
I had breast cancer and finished my chemo in Sep 2011. My hair fell and grew back by then. But in January 2012 my hair started falling again, first slowly, then in clumps. I indulge in chewing tobacco in small amount daily. Does it have an adverse reaction with chemo toxins ( docetaxel , carboplatin, and herceptin ) that causing my hair loss. Please help!
hi yes defnitely smoking causes hair fall.because of the carcinogens present in tobacco.and it can be due to delayed side effect of ur chemotherapeutic drugs.it canm be treated by stopp chewing tobbaco follihair tablet daily once ,application of keratone oil and ketoconazole shampoo weekly twice .if no response within three months go for manexil gel
