Had Bridge To Hold Jaw Together, Screw Came Out, Hole Infected, Got Random Cough. Caused By Infected Hole?
I broke my jaw 8 yrs ago some kind of bridge was put in to hold my jaw together for the last year I ve been having really bad abssess in that spot finally the screw came out & I still have this hole that seems to stay infected its very painful now I ve got this random cough is it related can the prolonged infection in my jaw be getting serious

The pus collection at the site indicates some sort of infection.You should NOT delay and start the treatment immediately after consulting your doctor/ent specialist.
The pus should be sent for culture and sensitivity and antibiotic coverage should be given to control the bacterial infection.
