Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

Bronchitis and pneumonia are there and known to the medical world even before man knows about HIV (That is HIV is known for the past 32 years only). Every one of us are likely to get Bronchitis or even pneumonia. Smokers are more likely to have Bronchitis. Pneumonia is common among children and an adult also can get the same in occasions.

The presence of HIV is not at all always associated with bronchitis or pneumonia.

The chances of getting HIV through hospitalization and blood test is very very remote possibility. You need not worry about these remote possibilities.
Don't worry about HIV and take treatment for your respiratory tract problem. You will be alright soon.
Wish you speedy recovery.
