Is this serious problem? Kindly assist me with your answer.
What you have described is what we call as post coital bleeding.
The usual causes are dryness in vagina, any lesion in the cervix like an infection, hormonal change called erosion or a growth on the cervix.
If this has co incided with ovulation ie in the middle of your cycle, it can be a normal event also.
If you are on hormonal contraceptives , your doctor might change the preparation or dose.
You need a full gynecological examination to make sure everything is fine.
If you haven't had pap smears its a good idea to start having them.
Hope this helps.
All the best. Take care.
