Had Chest Pains, Breathing Problem And Threw Huge Green Blob. What Could That Have Been?

MY BROTHER WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM THE OTHER NIGHT WITH CHEST PAINS AND PROBLEMS BREATHING. THEY THOUGHT HEART ATTACK OR PLURASY. THEY DETERMINED NEITHER TO BE THE CAUSE. THEY RELEASED HIM. LAST NIGHT HE THREW UP A HUGE GREEN BLOB. NOW FEELS FINE. WHAT COULD THAT HAVE BEEN?

Hi,
For all it appears, it is a mucus plug.It can be seen in pleurisy.i hope his chest xray is fine.i would advise to follow up and get a chest xray done and take antibiotic if problem recurs.
