Had Cold, Cough, Fever, Difficulty Breathing. Taken Azithromycin. X-ray Normal. Using Inhalers

I had a cold three months ago. After the cold ended I had this cough for two months. I had fever and a hard time breathing. The last fever I had was two weeks ago. I went to my family doctor 2 times. The first time he gave me Azithromycin antibiotics. two weeks later I went back and he gave me Symbicort turbuhaler. Then two days ago because of the heat my breathign got really bad. I couldn't speak well. So I went to the emergency for a xray. Nothing came up in the xray. They told me to use two inhalers when I can't breathe well. one is Ventolin and the other is Atrovent

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Reading your history of problems- I feel the thing started with allergic cold which subsided & the problem of breathlessness started. Is it?
The possibility is the allergy had produced some changes in blood cells-resulting indifficulty in respiration,
Do you have family H/O asthama or allergy?
Do you hve exema, worm infections etc?
Please get your blood cell count ( TLC,DLC) Which will be helpful in further advice.
PLease don't worry, proper medication/approach will help you.
Thank you.

General & Family Physician Dr. Ramesh M.Vachharajani's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you are having allergic bronchitis.
Continue with both the inhalers which will give ease breathing and work as an anti-allergy as well.
Do deep breathing exercise daily and regularly.
Avoid allergens like dust,humid atmosphere.
Ok and take care.
