Had Complete Thyroidectomy. Thyroid Levels Elevated. Why Leg Cramps?
I am a 52 yr old male who had a complete Thyroidectomy 30 months ago. thyroid levels slightly elevated but well regulated with150 syntroid/day, checked within last3 months. I am extreemly active, 45- 60 min cardio excercise.6 day/week. for tha last 2weeks I have eperienced leg cramps . Only thing thats changed in last month eating2 handful pastacio nuts a da. Any relation?

with complete thyroidectomy, there chance of parathyroid glands getting removed. If it is so, it can cause calcium deficiency. Just check with your doctor who can investigate the cause & prescribe some calcium supplementation.
