Had Corn On Side Of Heel, Used Salicylic Acid, Bleeding While Removing Dead Skin
Hi. I had a corn on the side of heel for the past four years. It didn t cause any pain during this time. Last week one of my friends asked me to use salicylic acid to get rid it it, so that mmy feet look pretty. I used it for three days, after which a dry layer of dead skin occured on the corn. I removed it carefully, more than half of it peeled of easily but red of it made the area bleed. I cut it till the point it didn t bleed and applied bandage on it. Now when ever I try to remove dead skin, it bleeds. What do I do?
Hi corns are present over pressure points on the heel.yes they can be cured by salcylic acid application .but the leg should be kept in luke water for 15 minutes and then apply salcylic acid so that the deed skin will be lost by itself when kept in water do not try to cut to bleed.it will take atleast one month to get it cured.if no response go for electrocautery or cryosurgery
