Had Creatinine And Developed Pneumonia. In ICU. Improvement? Have To Get Dialysis?

My mother had a creatinine around 2.3 for the entire last year. Last week she suddenly got pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital. She is the ICU and doctors are giving her antibiotics. While she is recovering from pneumonia, her creatinine is now more than 4 and urea is around 199. Will these lab reports improve or will she have to get dialysis? We are very worried.

Hi there,
Thanks for writing to us,
Your mother creatitine and urea levels are high, better to do an renal function and liver function test, check the parameter and then plan for dialysis if needed.do not worry , provide with the finding .
Take care.
