Had Endometriosis Cyst. Had A Laparoscopy. On Decapeptyl Injection. Can I Become Pregnant?

Hi, I am 32. I had laproscopy in june 14th 2013. In my 1st period cycle, the endometriosis cyst was again visible.
In 2nd cycle, it was almost 2.5 cm. then on 4th day of 2nd cycle (17th Aug 2013) i had decapeptyle 3.75 mg injection.

My question is, can I become pregnent if I have intercource. My periods are stopped after taking decapeptyle.

Hello
Thanks for your query.
Endometriosis often causes difficulty in conception .
Decapeptyl is SUPPOSED to induce a menopause like state, and thus puts the hormones at a stop, which cause the proliferation of endometriosis in the body.
Hence, you normally would not menstruate while on decapeptyl
However, ovulation is still possible erratically, though not predictably, and there are quite a few number of patients who DO conceive while on decapeptyl too.
What I would advice is to have the recommended course of decapeptyl, and then immediately switch the next month to aggressive treatment for conception.
If the laparoscopy states that the tubes are patent, then you can go for follicular monitoring with / without ovulation induction.
If tubes are blocked, then consider ART ( assisted reproductive technology ) at the earliest.
Take care.
