Had Follicle Rupture, Endometrial Thickness. Underwent IUI Treatment. Taken Susten. Will I Get Pregnant?

hello Dr, Am Roshni from India. I am 40 yrs and my hubby is 43 yrs. we undergone an IUI treatment on monday 11.11.13. My follicle ruptured with the helo of HCG and endomet thickness is 13.7 tripple line. and i have been advised to take 20 tab susten 200 mg for 20 days. what is the success rate of me getting pregnant this time. we are married for a year.

Thanks for your query.
IUI has a success rate of almost 15 - 20 %.
As you had good follicular response, and ovulated well, your chances of conception are good.
ALso, if semen parameters were normal, there is nothing to worry about.
Age is against you however.
even if you do conceive, chances of complications are higher than normal - abortions, hypertension, diabetes etc.
Right now, you should wait for 20 days to see if the result is positive.
Else strongly consider ART ( assisted reproductive techniques ) at your age.
