Had Heart Attack. Have Numbness In Finger And Side Of Hand. Taking Gabipentin. Right Medication?
after having a heart attack 3 years ago, while I was in the ICU, the nurses had to tie "boxing gloves" on my hands because I was combative. 3 months after getting out, I started to notice numbness in the small finger and side of my left hand. To this day it is still there. sometimes fingers will lock-up. taking Gabipentin but does little for the pain.

The symptoms that you are having are likely to be related to benign causes like electrolyte imbalance, vitamin B 12 deficiency, etc. Most of the times these symptoms can be taken care of by taking electrolyte rich fluids and Methylcobalamin supplements.
