Had Kidney Transplant. Safe To Take Protein Shake Replacing Breakfast For A Meal?

Hi! my husband had kidney transplant 10 yrs ago. Is it ok to take a protein shake once a day replacing breakfast for a meal to lose some weight? creatinine has been between 1.5-1.7 for the last 10 yrs. he takes about 1/4 scoop added to his shake for breakfast. 1 full scoop of protein powder contains 27 gms of protein. thank you!

There is no harm in giving him protein powder instead of breakfast.
