Hello, thanks for using HCM.
Implantational bleeding typically occurs about four weeks after the last menses. It present with mild vaginal bleeding that is not typically red as blood, and could be accompanied by lower abdominal cramps. The bleeding is said to be scanty, more or less pinkish and lighter than normal menses.
Implantational bleeding results from insertion of the developing embryo in to the uterine lining and typically occurs within 7 to 14 days after ovulation and fertilization (which usually corresponds to 4 weeks after last menses). However, despite strong suspicion of an implantational bleeding, only a positive pregnancy test will confirm with certainty if you are pregnant or not as implantational bleeding is a retrospective diagnosis.
As such it is necessary to re do the pregnancy test using blood in a week or two.
Best regards and hope this helps.
