Had Long Period With Less Cramping, Otherwise Unbearable, Light Pink Blood On Wiping. Why?
Hello, I usually have periods that last for five days and the cramps are unbearable. However, this month was different there were less cramping and it lasted for 7 days. I started my period on the 9th of this month and ended on the 15th. Well today I noticed light pink blood when I wiped, but an hour or so later there was nothing there. Any advice/ suggestions as of what is going on with me?
Hello and welcome to HCM, variations are common in normal menstrual cycle in amount of menstrual flow and duration of menstrual flow. The menstrual cycle can vary from as short as 2 days to as long as 7 days. Similarly there can be variation in amount of menstrual flow. Menstrual flow can be massive with clots or can be light also. Dysmenorrhea (cramping pain) is a normal accompaniment of menstrual cycles. Observe your menstrual cycles for few months. If the menstrual cycles remain irregularly irregular, then you need to consult your gynecologist.
