Had Miscarriage. Now Trying To Conceive, Pregnancy Test Negative, Feeling Exhausted, Pain In Abdomen And Back. What Is Wrong?
Hi Dr Manjunath (Gynecologist)
I had a miscarriage in the first week in Januart and myself and my husband have been trying to conceive for about 2 months now. I've got a regular 28 cycle which we properly timed last month (my period was 18th April). A few days after my ovulation period, i started feeling slightly dizzy and exhausted. I didnt expect my period till 17th May (last friday) but it came 5 days early- on the 13th. I did take the preg test this morning and it came out negative.I still feel exhausted, have pain in my lower abdomen and lower back pain. Whats wrong with me?
Hi, Thanks for the query. Menstrual irregularity, fatigue etc can be seen due to many factors like anemia, thyroid hormonal abnormality etc. As you had previous miscarriage better to be careful this time. You consult gynecologist, go for follicular study to track ovulation. Plan unprotected intercourse around that period. Better to take progesterone supplementation with your doctor's advice in the second-half of the cycle.
