Had My Urinalysis. Result Shows Color-yellow, Transparency-hazy. WBC 5-11, RBC 0-1/hpf. Suggestions?

Hi! I'm 4 months pregnant and had my urinalysis. Can you tell me what is the meaning of the result? Color-yellow, transparency-hazy, reaction-6.0, specific gravity-1.010, protein-negative, sugar-negative, WBC 5-11, RBC 0-1/hpf, epithelial cells-many, amorphous urates-rare & bacteria-few. What advise can you give me?

Thanks!

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from urinary tract infection. You have 4 month pregnancy also so, don't ignore it and consult your obstetrician.
UTI is the most common bacterial infection during pregnancy due to certain
changes in pregnancy.
You need few investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,urine RE/ME, culture/ sensitivity and ultrasound of KUB region.
WBC,RBC,bacteria and epithelial cells in urine suggests urinary tract infection.
You need proper antibiotics and alkalizing syrups.
Get well soon.

Take Care

Hi!
your urinalysis result can be explained like this:
color, transparency, reaction and specific gravity are normal.
protein sugar negative is also a normal finding
RBCs are normal rare amorphous urates are not significant.
wbc 5-11 and many epithelial cells indicate mild infection in urinary tract.
My advice is get a urine culture and senstivity done and then your obstetrician will prescribe a course of safe antibiotics keeping your pregnancy in mind.Hope this helps.take care!
